Hermes granted her one wish before he left her alone to raise me on her own. She wanted to see the world for what it really was. So the Mailman gave her the power to see through the mist. I was told not to mention this to anyone. I was told to say that she was born with the ability. Charlie's orders. Anyways my mom began to see monsters everywhere for the next few years. It drove her crazy. Well not really she was really seeing these things but no one else was and that was the problem. So they locked her up. Not only did Hermes let her get locked up he ignored me while I grew up alone on the streets. Do you know what kind of life that is for a seven year old? As I said before the gods are monsters. I grew up living on my own until I found other demigods like me one day. They were talking about meeting a guy named Charlie who was a son of Dionysus. I told them who I was and asked to go with them. They took me to Charlie and the rest as they say was history. Which brings us to present day. I walked through the woods and saw the camp border. I turned around to make sure Orthus was still behind me. Orthus was the Two headed brother of Cerberus Charlie had sent to "attack" me. I proceeded towards the border said the phrase to let the monster in and began to act. Orthy kneeled over me while I was lying on the ground screaming.
